Judging by the photos and videos on Instagram, Taylor Swift’s two-night stand at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Aug. 10-11 will be a pop spectacle. There are still some tickets left in the upper reaches of the 70,000-seat venue (along with more pricey resales) for both shows, but snatch them up quickly because they are likely to be gone.
Swift’s “Reputation Stadium Tour” has received glowing reviews, even from some of music’s most jaded critics. Attendees are given a glowing bracelet as they enter the show, and it proceeds to change colors and create a sea of light as the pop/country superstar powers through the hits of her latest album (“Look What You Made Me Do,” “Delicate,” “Ready for It”) and favorites from previous records (“Bad Blood,” “Style,” “Blank Space,” “Shake It Off”).
With a towering video wall on the main stage at one end of the field and two smaller stages at the other (complete with giant snakes), Swift will be Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s biggest musical act yet. Be sure to arrive on time as not to miss opening acts Camila Cabello and Charli XCX.
Watch for our review of Friday night’s show.
